Nawab Shah Alam Khan College of Education is located at Yennepally Village, in Vikarabad mandal and District of Telangana. The college was established in the year 2007; this is a co – educational and self-financed institute. The main objective is to prepare students for the teaching profession. During the course, the students are sent to different schools for teaching practice. The college holds a big seminar hall, equipped with modern audio – visual equipment, a library cum reading room and laboratories. In every academic year; the college has been accommodating up to 200 students. The college has been offering B.Ed course, and the B.Ed – Admissions are done on the basis of Ed.Cet Counseling.

Nawab Shah Alam Khan College of Education is at present offering two years B.Ed course. The college admits the Ed.Cet qualified students as per the guidance of the Ed.Cet convener and management quota students. The institution has been admitting every year 100 new students from 2007 onwards. The college has glorious record of graduating more than 1500 students in last 15 years. The majority of the students get pass in first division with distinction only. The majority of passed out students of the college (Alumnus) have got government jobs in schools; they are imparting their services as Primary Teacher, High School Teacher and Post Graduate Teacher in different parts of the country. The college has plan to start M.Ed and Intergrade Four Year B.Ed courses also in future.
The college admits qualified and punctual students; the students should be presented in all the classes during the working days. The students should have 80% attendance in theory classes and complete all the assessments, records and practical attendance should be 90% for writing university semester examinations. The college is free from ragging, not a signal care reported in last 15 years; there is an anti-ragging committee headed by principal to monitor such acts.
The approved teaching faculty consists of highly specialized teacher educators; our faculty is qualified and experienced according to the said norms of NCTE. All the teacher educators selected through interview by Subject Experts’ Committee; of Anwarul Uloom Educational Association and Dean of Education - Osmania University. The faculty is appointed by the Honorable Secretary of Anwarul Uloom Educational Association on agreeing of certain terms and conditions. All the faculty-members holds double post-graduation with experience; the principal holds double post-graduation with Ph.D. and Diploma wide experience of teaching at different colleges of education, with seminar presentations and has number of publications in international, national and UGC listed journals.

The dimension of the class-rooms are Class Room No:1 Ground Floor (8x10=80 Sq.Mr), Class Room No: 2 Ground Floor (8x10=80 Sq.Mr), Class Room No: 3 Ground Floor (8x10=80 Sq.Mr), Class Room No: 4 Ground Floor (8x10=80 Sq.Mr), Room No: 5 First Floor (8x10=80 Sq.Mr), Room No: 6 First Floor (8x10=80 Sq.Mr). Thus, the total area of six class rooms is 480 Sq.Mr. each class-room has three windows of 4.5x6 feet and two door of 7x4 feet, one for entry and one for exit. The all class-rooms have green glass board of 4x8 feet and all the classes have given the option for projector screen space. There is Teacher- stage in each class-room with desk, chair and podium. Each class-room has four celling fans with multiple tube-lights and electric connectivity with two and three pin plugs. All class-rooms are fully furnished with desk cum chairs; thus, each class-room can accommodate 50 students.
The college has big seminar hall of 108 Sq. Mr (180 x 6 Sq. Mr) with the all basic facilitates. The seminar hall has four windows of 4.5x6 feet and two doors of 7x4 feet, one for entry and one for exit. The seminar-hall has green glass board of 4.5x8 feet and it has given the option for projector screen space. There is speaker- stage with chairs for other dignitaries and a podium. The seminar hall has eight celling fans with multiple tube-lights and electric connectivity with two and three pin plugs. The seminar hall is fully furnished with desk cum chairs; thus, it can accommodate more than 150 students. The seminar has a projector with HD sound system and a computer for the presentations. Besides above facilities the seminar hall has decorated with the curtains and floor mat.
The college has multipurpose hall of 208 Sq.Mr (10x21 Sq.M) feet with the all basic facilitates. The seminar hall has eight windows of 4.5x6 feet and two doors of 7x4 feet, one for entry and one for exit. The seminar-hall has green glass board of 4.5x8 feet and it has given the option for projector screen space. There is speaker- stage with chairs for other dignitaries and a podium. The multipurpose hall has eight celling fans with multiple tube-lights and electric connectivity with two and three pin plugs. The seminar hall is fully furnished with desk cum chairs; thus, it can accommodate more than 200 students. The multipurpose hall has a projector with HD sound system and a computer for the presentations. Besides above facilities the seminar hall has decorated with the curtains and floor mat.
The institution has well equipped library room of 360 Sq.Mr (10X36 Sq.Mr), the college library has collections of total 5907 books which covers reference books, dictionaries in four languages (English, Telugu, Urdu and Hindi), issuing books, 16 volumes Encyclopedias of Britannica, photocopy facility, printing facility, binding facility, reading facility with comfortable chair and desks with the capacity of 50 students comfortable sitting. Our college has eight educational journals with ISSN Numbers, at the same time the institution has books of different methods subject. Our library has the electronic searching of books by title of the book facility. The institution has installed a computer system to look at their library account details of issue and return of books.
There are four laboratories namely Mathematics, Physical Science, Bio-Science have allotted the room of 75 Sq.Mr (12.2X6.1Sq.Mr) and Psychology laboratories and there are five Labs namely Social Studies Lab, Urdu Lab, English Lab, Telugu Lab and Educational Technology Lab or Computer Lab. All the laboratories and Labs are well equipped for experiment and practice to develop various educational skills in the trainee teachers. In the laboratories the trainees can conduct experiments of physical science, biological science, psychology and mathematics on topics pedagogical sciences and school related topics. The institution has taken all safety majors even students do the experiment in the presence of the exports and lecturers. In the same manner the mathematics laboratory equipped with all necessary wooden, paper and plastic graph boards, roller boards, geometry instrument boxes, different wooden models of geometrical solids, mathematical kits, etc. The students can use the laboratory for preparation of teaching and learning aids like charts, models, flash cards, working models, special charts and low cost TLM.
Psychology laboratory acquires the total area of 76 Sq. Mr (6.1 X 12.6 Sq.Mr) is equipped with various Psychological tools of research, questionnaires, and tests like Learning, Personality, Aptitude, Intelligent, Heredity etc.
Social Studies Lab, Urdu Lab, English Lab and Telugu Lab is has area of 75 Sq. Mr (12.2X6.1 Sq.Mr) are equipped with maps, charts, models and specimen instruments. The students can develop teaching leaning aids with the help of these equipment and tools of teaching learning in the labs.
Our institution has a store room of 54 Sq. Mr (9X6 Sq.Mr) for storing previous year records. The institution has stored all the records of last 15 years of Lesson Plans, Different Records, Models, Charts and Practical Exam Scripts. Not in use furniture and electronic items like commuters, printers, old sound boxes and electronic items like lights.
Our institution has one drama and art and Craft Lab 54 Sq. Mr (9X6 Sq.Mr) well equipped with all musical and art and drama tools and instruments. Drama and art Lab has the instruments and tools like Tabla, Band, Harmony, Ghungru, Dhool, Make-up table, costumes, Background Changing Stage, Banjo, Digital Sound system. Stone Status, Bidri Work, Zardozi work and many handmade art items.
The Educational Technology Lab or Computer Lab of 75 Sq. Mr (12.2X 6.1 Sq.Mr) is equipped all basic requirements like projector, computers, scanner and printer with high speed internet facility. ET lab has 40 LCD computers and each one has connected with high-speed internet facility with comfortable chairs. The computer-Technology Lecturer is always available to teach and guide the students to prepare their projects, presentations and slides.
The institution has very big properly maintained playground, at the same time number of students can play different games and matches. Students can play cricket, football, shuttle and volleyball; our institute has provided indoor games facility also, the students can play chess, carom board and other indoor games. There is separate Sort and Yoga – Hall of 72 Sq.Mr (6.1X5.8) with yoga mat, charts and video lessons facility by Computer so that the experts from different corners of the country can give extension lecturers and guide the students. We have appointed qualified Yoga faculty who hold PG-Diploma in Yoga Teaching from the reputed university of India.
Our college has well-furnished principal office of 30 Sq. Mr (5X6 Sq.Mr) with all basic facility like attach washroom, sitting argument for meetings, computer with high speed internet, Printer facility and other needed facilities. The administration office room has total area of 80 Sq.Mr (8X10 Sq.Mr) has computer with high speed internet, printing facility, sitting arrangement, safe original certificate storing facility. Our staff has a separate room for their personal readings, books, records keeping and storing facilities.
Our college has separate two washroom facility for women on each floor; the area of two washrooms is 30Sq. Mr (3X5 Sq. Mr) and men students also have two washroom facility on each floor; the area of two washrooms is 30Sq. Mr (3X5 Sq. Mr), female staff, Male staff, and non-teaching staff also have three separate washrooms of 30Sq. Mr (3X5 Sq. Mr). The washrooms cleaned by two sweepers every day with Dettol and sanitized.
